IMD (IN-MOULD DECORATION) TECHNOLOGY
IMD system drives it’s technology to reproduce the products with unique touch, feel, and texture beyond mere decoration.
The film (transfer foil), onto which the desired design has been printed, is inserted into the mold. Resin is introduced to the mold and the design transfers onto the component, while it is being molded.
This revolutionary system enables the implementation of sophisticated graphics on resin products with complex 3D geometries.
Tampon printing is suitable for labelling plain and curved surfaces, this is an indirect, intaglio printing process that also reflects small details.
Particular hollows are milled into the cliché that represents the printing picture.
These are filled with paint then an elastic stamp (tampon) made from silicone is pressed on the cliché that soaks up the paint and transport it to the object.
